We live here, we love it, we want you to as well!
Ever since Jenny arrived in New Zealand “for good” we have been inundated with visits from her family, friends, friends of friends or just someone who happens to know someone who knows her. All of them have enjoyed “having a go” on the farm (often this didn’t include the morning milking!) but more tellingly have really appreciated the tips and ideas we have given them for the rest of their trip beyond Golden Bay. It became obvious to us that the local knowledge was the difference between a good holiday and a GREAT holiday. This is knowledge that we would like to share with you. We don’t want you to travel around New Zealand looking out of the car window – we want YOU to get out and discover our IDYLL.
This is easy for us to say and harder for you to do when all the information out there is so vast and often so vague. You can spend hours scrolling through the Internet, and guidebooks whetting your appetite, but in fact you are not a lot wiser in the end. This is where we come in. We will turn this data into information. Not only will we point you to the best beaches, walks, views, activities, we will also sort out the mechanics of your trip so it meets your budget and your expectations and runs like clockwork, leaving you free to just get out and enjoy yourselves.
How do we do this? The good old-fashioned telephone! You email us and we will call you back at a time that suits you! Simple as! Looking forward to talking to you!
Meet The Team
I am a kiwi through and through. I have spent most of my life farming (dairy and beef). I am the 3rd generation on my family farm, which is tucked away in Bainham in idyllic Golden Bay in the NW corner of the South Island.
I have always had a passion for travel and have been lucky enough to create quiet times in my farming calendar to travel overseas, but more importantly, extensively throughout New Zealand – God’s Own.
I have been heavily involved in Search and Rescue for over 30 years, and that, combined with my love of tramping has found me in many of the remote spots in the NZ hills, mountains, bush and huts. It was in one of these I met Jenny.
I am not a Kiwi, but have been resident here for over 18 years. I too have a great passion for the great outdoors and tramping in particular. Prior to settling in New Zealand I worked for a couple of different tour operators developing, organising and leading both walking and discovery holidays in various places throughout the world.
I had always wanted to come to New Zealand and especially spend some time tramping. When I set off for 6 weeks from London in 1998, I had no inkling that a whole new chapter in my life was about to open. It was on one of these tramps in the hills behind Queenstown that I met Graham!
I joined him on the farm, which I loved. We have recently sold to concentrate fully on Roundabout New Zealand.
