THREE DAYS TO THREE MONTHS, ONE ISLAND TO THREE ISLANDS...
WE WILL WORK WITH YOU.
Below we have listed a few sample itineraries, as we believe it can all be a bit overwhelming not to have a stake in the sand. The most important thing to bear in mind when looking through them is that this is YOUR trip and we would like to discuss varying options with you. For instance, you may wish to precede any of these trips with 3 or 4 days in Northland, or prolong your stay in Queenstown or Te Anau so you can visit Milford and or Doubtful Sound, or mix and match bits from any of the itineraries, or fly between some points to eliminate some of the longer drives. The great beauty is nothing is fixed and most things can be achieved.
You may well arrive in New Zealand from one of the other entry points – you can start your trip from there – it doesn’t have to be Auckland!
Three days to three months; one island to three islands – we will work with you.
Your trip notes and final itinerary will give a detailed route with many suggestions of activities, diversions and stops along the way. This will be totally tailored to your interests. We pride ourselves in providing you with what you want.
We will make all bookings for everything you need, following discussion with you. Accommodation, car hire, transport, activities, tickets, internal flights, ferries – everything – gosh, even the odd restaurant, particularly handy if you are arriving late into town!
North Island - Auckland to Wellington via Napier (8 days)
Auckland to Wellington via Coromandel and Central Plateau (11 days)
This tour takes you from Auckland, City of Sails, New Zealand’s gateway to the beautiful Coromandel Peninsula, and then to the complete contrast of the volcanic areas, including the most active, White Island. There is an opportunity to hike the Tongariro Alpine Crossing before heading into Wellington our cool little Capital.
Northland - The Twin Coast Highway (3-5 days)
A short extension to your North Island trip from Auckland – a classic tour of the Northland Peninsula, taking you through lush farmland, mighty Kauri forests, and the beautiful Bay of Islands and the New Zealand’s premier historical site, the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. You may even travel further to the very top – Cape Reigna where the Tasman Sea meets the Pacific Ocean.
