Flights
See New Zealand from a different perspective

New Zealand is a big country! Its centres are extremely well connected by the network of domestic flights. We recommend that you take advantage of these, particularly if your time is limited. We will advise you of internal flights where appropriate.
Any sort of a decent day (many are), and you will also have the added bonus of a bird’s eye view of our stunning country.
And don’t forget there are many opportunities for scenic flights, both helicopter and fixed wing. Some are scenic flights in their own right e.g. a flight over the glaciers, or White Island, some add another dimension to sightseeing trip e.g. a coach – cruise – fly option from Queenstown to Milford Sound. We will discuss these options with you.
Rental Cars
Freedom to explore at your own pace

New Zealand roads are generally uncrowded. A self-drive holiday gives you the freedom of the road and allows you to explore the nooks and crannies at your own pace. Take advantage of one-way hires so you don’t have to retrace your steps.
You will see some of the most stunning scenery in the world as you drive leisurely around the New Zealand roads and there is endless opportunity to stop and capture those special memories. Every time you turn the corner there is another spectacular view.
We drive on the left and our rules of the road are not dissimilar to other western countries. We will send you a set prior to departure and include another in your travel pack so that you can familiarise yourself with them, prior to departure, making for a safe and enjoyable trip.
Hiring a car is easy – you need a current driving licence (with an English Translation if it is not in English) and it helps if you are over 21!
There is a standard choice of vehicles available and we will discuss your choice with you.
